PROMENADE - A Short Film by Mary Glenn Frederick and Anran Chen

In this dark comedy we find our main protagonist, Jane Doe, at her mother's funeral. Being escorted? By a warden? She doesn't seem to happy about the situation, however it is the perfect opportunity for an escape. In the midst of almost escaping she overhears that one of the funeral goers is impersonating her? Who is this "Fake Jane Doe"? And why is she trying to be her? All of a sudden a figure falls out of a nearby closet and who is it than none other than her own mother, the very women who is supposed to be dead.
